As for the situation with window tints...

When i had mine done i was told its the front window and front side windows thats a bit of a no no.
However as i have an import STi 7 and the rear windows were already tinted it looked a bit strange so dam the police if i am going to have a car that looks uncomplete due to the two front windows not tinted.
I went ahead and got them done and they look much better but the tint they used was dark smoke where my windows are a more dark brown so there is a slight difference inside the car with colour but not that much to get worked up about and from the outside they look better and that all that matters to me.
I got 2 front windows done for £70 and its a good job.

Anyways as for the legal side of it...

had mine done today as well. looks like an excellent job but won't get a really good look until its light tomorrow. will post up some pics once the car is cleaned at the weekend.
