Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've had my door trim panel repaired by Welptons. As I was quick to question Welpton's abilities, it is only fair that you hear the rest of the story. They were surprisingly friendly about fixing the trim - and got the job sorted despite a few problems. They even offered me a courtesy car and valeted the Scoob. Prior to them doing the work, I was adamant that I wouldn't use them again - now I think that I may even give them another chance. I think that once they've got a bit more experience of Scoobs, they'll be far superior to the other dealer in Hull (Jo****s).

James,
I think you were perfectly justified in your initial opinion after what happened. Fair enough, they've fixed the problem amicably, but at the end of the day the problem shouldn't have happened in the first place. Whether it was a Scoob or a mini, there's no excuse for scratching internal panels during a service and then denying it. I'm not sure that inexperience with Scoobs is a good enough reason for it happening.
I'm still undecided whether to give them a shot at mine or whether to carry on taking it to Pulleyn's in York.

My car won't need servicing again for ages
And even when it's a BIG one (cambelt change etc) I can see the invoice was only for just over £200
I am expecting to pay about £120 for the next one (78,000 service) based on all the service invoices I've got, and that's MAIN DEALER PRICES!
I much rather pay that than £500 in 6 months to do 2,500 miles that that damn silver tin box cost me....

Pumster (that's so you!) I looked in overflow car park but couldn't see any traces of a scoob playing - were you being a good boy this morning or were security about!!!!
Dicky - I'm moving into 106 next week - as well as my Dems work I'm taking over from Sarah as she's moving to WS3. Was hoping to set up were Swifty used to sit but I've been told I've got to sit were Sarah is. Suppose I shall have to be quiet now and be more lady-like - no shouting obscene things at the scaffs and riggers!!!!
My Celica (aka Luther!) performed well in the snow this morning you'll all be pleased to know. Noticed someone had come to work on a quad bike!!!! Can you use them on roads?

Mornin all!!!!!!!!
I suggest meeting at 7:30 in Durty Nellies on Saturday night and then see where the mood takes us. So who's coming then???
Ads - any damage to report yet???
Anyone fancy meeting up in a car park tonight for a play in the snow???? Preferably a BIG car park with no obstacles to crash into!
Ferne - is Luther (????) front wheel drive or rear?
Dick - I'm contemplating taking my car to TSL for a service and geometry set-up (and maybe some Eibachs and 18" wheels whilst it's there!!!) Just need to rob a bank first tho!

Front wheel drive - don't think I'd have got down the drive if it had been rear - well not in a straight line anyway! Yep Luther - never given a car a name before but it's black, sleek and sexy so I though Luther would be jolly nice.

Ferne,
I'm in CMO just outside Graeme Stuart's office. Only doing Tues and Weds for 15 weeks on K1 alarm handling manual.
Steve'
TSL Vecrors are £1500 without the tyres, you will have to rob a bank. I thought about these but with PFF7s at £860 on the group buy it was no contest.
All,
If you want a big empty car park try Humberside Country Park car park. It's in two sections and the big one away from the buildings is usually empty.
Cheers, Dick.
