If people are worried as its their 1st time, we have the track half the day and can send people out with no other cars and with a experienced co pilot
no need to stress it will be fun!

I would probably be able to do the track day - went round Bruntingthorpe on one of those driving days in various cars and it is a good wide track.
Haven't read all last 30 pages - can someone tell me the deal on the laser diffuser as am after one.Is the deal still available??
Cheers
John

The deal for the diffusers has finished, we thought we would have test the diffusers, combined with a half day track day.
So you up for it???

I got hit by police hand-held laser this afternoon.
exit a 2-lane roundabout at about 55 in a 40 (barrier lined road - no paths etc), police 1/2 a mile up the road at next roundabout. as soon as nose got onto straight LRC100 went off (via roadangel). I slowed to 40 and turned unit off, which gave them plenty of time to get another reading with no interference. They didn't stop me.
not sure if it all worked though - i'll have to wait and see if i get a ticket.

it kept going off while i decelerated to 40. I then switched it off from that point until i went past ... so if they tried to get a second they got a valid one at 40.

Is there really a need to turn them off after being lasered by Mr Plod?
I thought the LRC-100 would fire its signal for 5 seconds and then automatically turn itself off for 60 secs.
I'm sure I have read this on one of the many websites.
Cheers

Not sure how good these are but - Radar & Laser BLINDER not Detector NO RESERVE
Looks like it can also stop you being flashed by a Gatso etc.
quote from seller "Lastly, please do not email me asking will they make your car invisible to Gatso or fixed cameras as to protect myself I will not comment. I’m sure you understand. As per above the manufacturer states it blocks all K & Ka Bands which I understand are the band Gatso and Mini Gatso use"
Currently at £10:50
The Blinder Laser Jammer from the States looks the best, perhaps someone can find out if we can get a discount for more than 10, should be cheaper with shipping as well. I think this is "Must Have", I don't want to pay for extra funding for the Police, even though my old man was one for 25 years.

I've not had any alerts yet, and am fitting an LRC 100 to my van this week. Went past a mobile unit in Cumbria last week, my side of the road, and the Snooper S6R Neo did nothing, although it has the radar / laser detector attachment. I have never had a laser alert with any device in sight so now waiting to see if an NIP arrives, although only doing about 75 on a dual carriageway! My Scoob has LRC 100 and S6R Neo, but doesn't get used much, collected it from my brothers last night where I had left it 10 days ago when going out with him for a beer, so had no fun with OLD BILL yet!

Think we should arrange a test, as some owners of the LRC100 have had problems, we do not need a track, just an Industrial Estate on a Sunday Morning. There was another thread regarding a test, but cannot find it. Better to get them tested, as some did have defects and were replaced, if not we could be wasting our money.
What does everyone think?
