Finally got one today in Oldham, 2000W 3dr Zetec in Panther Black, 18k miles, very clean.
Didnt have the climate pack unfortunately, but not that arsed about air con or leccy mirrors. Luckily it did have a towbar, so we saved a few quid by not having to get one fitted.
Now need to spend my time/money rebuilding my 205 Mi16

P1f, was a Ford dealer, and was up at £7295, which is over book price, but we wanted to pay more and buy from a Ford dealer than go private.
They gave us a superb PX price on the old motor though, as in DOUBLE what we expected (considering tax/mot has just run out
), and they were a pleasure to deal with. Only thing wrong with it was a kerbed alloy, and they are replacing that.

Not a bad price for dealer though.
Saw a nice one on Auto Trader. Y reg, 24K miles, Silver 1.6 Zetec 5dr, aircon and heated screen, alloys etc for £5,500. Rang the bloke up and as expected too good to be true - no service history (let alone a ford one), he said no damage when I first asked then changed his mind, the whole situation just stank and I dont think I will be going to take a look. Im gonna trust my initial instinct on this one.
