The fuel gauge isn't linear, so whereas 3/4 and 1/2 full are accurate, 1/4 full is actually the top bar of the "E" not the 1/4 line, hence why 1/2 to empty seems to go quicker. 10 litres to go is the middle bar of the "E". Must be some sort of Jap logic to it

MY99, full decat, JB Tek2.5, Dawes:-
I get between 250 and 300 miles on a tank of optimax, mixture of town, country and motorway driving. This is about the same as i got before the map, despite the quicker car i have now.
220 seems low to me but then perhaps i drive like a pu$$y as i got 30k miles out of a set of F1 Eagles too!

When car (MY00 UK wagon)was bog standard ... 24mpg
With full decat ............................ 24mpg
Now with TEK3 and a few other mods ......... 24mpg
Always with same mix and style of driving week in week out its never changed ..... given the performance increase over standard i'm both surprised and happy
