Fancy doing some real good in your subaru?
I would love to come but i'm not able to make it this weekend.
I would like to send my best wishes to everyone who makes it and my thourghts will be with you all on sunday.
A BIG applause to everyone who makes this day a very special day for the young brave man.
The words i want to use i find i'm unable to put into text, i'm just very proud of everyone for doing something that will make a young man very happy.
I hope the day goes well and the young man enjoys the car meet as much as we all do and lets keep our fingers crossed for a sunny day.

LOCATION UPDATE.
Taken from Robins site today. Well done Lauren at Vauxhall.
The new venue for the event on Sunday is Vauxhall Motors, Ellesmere Port
The meet time is still 12 Lunch Time & we have the car park until 4pm
We have been allocated EA car park on the site - leave the M53 @ junction 7, take the third exit and then follow signs for EA car park.
Please remember that the plant will be operational on the day - please respect the speed limits in and around the plant
Can I just take this opportunity to thank Lauren From Vauxhalls for letting us use their car park – I can’t thank you enough right now for letting this happen
Myself, Si, Mungo & Snazy cannot stress enough the importance that EVERYONE attending behaves in the appropriate manner. Vauxhalls have no obligation to open up there grounds for us like they have. The event will have a number of Marshals & the backing of the on site security so any unacceptable behaviour will result in immediate expulsion from the venue no questions asked.

The venue, has now been officially changed ..it now at Vauxhall Motors, junction 7 on M53 close to Ellesmere Port... the time is still the same.
For all those meeting at Helsby, i suggest we keep that time the same, (11 hold til 11.15am) for those coming from Wales ..do you want to meet us there, also?? and then we can all travel to the venue in convoy. The venue is only 5 mins from Helsby.
from North Wales ... ***, down thru Queensferry ...Head for M56 ..join the M56, and come off first junction ...you're at the services. Alternative, *** round the baclk of Chester, joins M53, come off for M56, and again its first junction.

This is a beautiful thing you folks are doing.
I would just like to say a thank you for all you guys participating in this event. This thread has really touched my heart and I'm only sorry that I'm on the continent and can't make the trip. I just wanted to offer my appreciation and support for you folks who are there and doing it.
Here's hoping that Robin will have a fantastic day!

What a fantastic turnout for the lad today, I reckon his family will be well pleased.
All in, there were at least 40 scoobs there, and cars from just about every other manufacturer in various states on tune and mod.
From the max-power brigade silver "tail-pipe", to a noble stripped out road car.
Thanks must go to Vauxhall Motors for allowing the use of their carpark for this event, pity there were no toilets though!
Great food from the burger wagon, as could be seen by the queue, and tasted good too.
Pictures I took can be found here as it is easier than uploading them to this site.
And a short vid of the run from the helsby services to the vauxhall venue can be found here
Thanks once again to the organisers of this event, and my thoughts go out to Robin and his family.
chris.

Was that the bucket with the fridge and stick-on scoob indicators?
Or was it that super super super MR2 with the scoob bonnet scoop on the "boot"?
Skoosh.
p.s: well done to all the scoob owners who turned up, f--k me, we looked like an organised club..........!
The only thing we should've done was listen to the sound of 40 scoobs at idle, no revving, just burbling.
