Hi all - I am leaving junction 3 of the M6 at 10.00 (See Midlands link) with hopefully one or two others if anyone wants to join in there.
WRX Wannabee - How about meeting at 11.00 at Sandbach Services at 11.00 and then coming of the M6 at junction 18 and going in A54/A51/*** (It looks far shorter than going up to the M56?)

rrh, sorry i miss understood, i agree a large place where we can be left alone by the plod is a great idea. apparently someone from one of the other sites has a good friend in the plod from the area and may turn up in a tvr (talk about well payed ) but has made plans about talking to the locals re this 'venue'

so chances are they 'may' leave us alone unless we get a few 'loonies' buzzin around.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like 'big brother' in my last post.
Yes you are right. The concerns will be the public highways. As I said, N.W.P has a very tough policy running right now on motorists. I heard something about this event today, thats what made me look. I should not really be making these posts but I love my motorsport and have an Audi S2 Avant chiped to 320bhp so would like to see this all happen. But I can tell you for certain that this will be looked into very carefully by my superiors. The way it works is, it will all depend on man power. If they have enough officers available, the event may be 'scaled down' or even stopped. If there is not enough police available, the event may go ahead unhinderd, but with heavy presence on perimiter roads with 'Arrive Alive' mobile gatsos and random 'pulls' to spoil everyones day. Also, any 'trick' driving could seriously face arrest.
Si. I would be grateful if you would spread this about if possible. I don't have time to post accross topics. But I think it is important for people to know.

yes we will be there ,will meet up with others at services on M56 .will try to get a few more interested from north wales as it is only on our doorstep.so sad to here stories like this when the person is so young.

As i am coming from the south up the M1 & M6 i will be meeting some along the way as we have a meeting point along the M6 @ Sandbach services

 

im heading for the Helsby meet point ... will be there for 11,or just before..

The North Wales crew, are looking for us possibly to meet them , so rather than go M53, *** ... how's about stay on m56 to Queensferry, meet them at the top of Aston hill (may St Davids park hotel) and then back onto the opposite end of *** to approach the site ... may add another couple of miles, but we'll pick up our friends from North Wales
