Fed up waiting, 3mths is far too long. I've rang up Ian and bailed out of this group buy. I'm going to fit a S.E.C.S. unit instead.

Good luck with the guages guys and thank you to all those who have tried to help

To be honest I think that after all this time it wouldn't be unreasonable for voodoo to ship out any gauges that they do have and then complete orders when the extra gauges arrive from usa. Might stop others from dropping out also.

Good idea FC

Is it one particular gauge they are awaiting delivery on ?

I'm waiting for a set of 4 - i'd rather get on and fit 3 if they'll send them out.

it has been a while since we posted on here
firstly i would like to appologise on behalf of voodoo sounds @ styling 99% of you have been very understanding under the circumstances .
when we decided to do the group buy i was approached by the thread starter simon , before we went ahead with the group buy i contacted my supplier in the usa a number of times , to make shure he could supply at least 150 gauges of various styles , which he assured me that it would be no problem !
any way to cut a long story short we as a company would not have got involved in the group buy if we where not 100% shure that we could supply the gauges .
our supplier in the usa has let us down very badly.
after at lest 25 calls, emails, faxs to the usa ( some of them being very blunt ) it looks like we have an answer , according the sales manager the rest of the gauges are being air freighted in from there factory in tawin and should arrive in the usa within the next 7 days .
we have our own air freight company so as soon as the land we can get them collected .
i do not want to give time of delivery etc . but it looks like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
i can only appologise once again .
if i had known that our us supplier was so Incompetent i would have not gone ahead with this .

on another note i was thinking on doing a group buy on carbon wings, bootlids, bonnets etc.( we get these from another supplier in the usa who is spot on )but i am having second thoughts !!! we have just brought a sti7 from newera imports which we are going to use as our project car as well as our 34 gtt skyline .
sorry once gain ian @ voodoo

Nice of you to write in and clarify the situation for those still waiting, but from my point of view, the group buy was excellent.

Carbon wings, boots and bonnets, now that sounds interesting!
thanks guys,
chris

Thumbs up

Ian.

Thanks for the feedback.
If i were you, i would still go for further group buys, just because one supplier has let you down, you shouldn't let it stop you doing business with others.

We know that this one has been out of your hands. And thanks for your efforts.

Johnny

I second what Johnny has said!

Everyone gets a dodgy supplier every now and then, its just unfortunate that this time it is when there has been a massive group buy!

I for one would not hesitate to use VOODOO again!

Cheers

Maybe Ian at Voodoo can keep giving us an update ??
How long are the gauges likely to take to arrive ??
or maybe 3.5 months is a reasonable amount of time to wait and therefore a cancellation may be on the cards , personally if I dont get them by christmas I think I will be cancelling my order.
If thge problem is just one specific guage why cant the other 3 be dispatched ?

Ian did explain last week in his post that things were gonna be moving soon.

It's not his fault guys. I know he's trying his best.

I too, havn't received my guages yet either, but i'm willing to wait, cos they're gonna look well smart !!

I agree with Andy - I paid mine direct to Voodoo , I'll give it a while longer then but If it was just one guage were waiting on I still would have liked to have fitted the other THREE

Sonic,

If it was Si who was dealing with Voodoo in the first place...

Maybe Ian would give you his details ? Even just a contact number.

Worth a shot.
