Minor detail, but IIRC there's two ways of crediting back a credit-card transaction. A refund does the above (i.e. can be subject to f/x variance), but a reversal simply 'undoes' the purchase transaction. Reversals are not subject to f/x variance as they 'undo' whatever was done in the first place.

First I would like to ask the moderators to lock (we can do it on our forum and hopefully you can do the same)this thread so that there can be no additional replys. I realize that some people have their own agendas or axes to grind and I don't want this to end up like that.
The saga is over:
ScoobySport UK did in fact issue a credit the day I requested it. Seems that their e-mail carrier is considered a large spam carrier and messages are often blocked. There was a difference in the amount but I have since found out that it was a fee from the credit card company that they have now reversed since the dispute is over.
I must give huge thanks to Ian at Hayward and Scott. It was amazing - Ian contacted me via e-mail on Thursday. I called the UK and ordered the exhaust at 6:15AM Monday - at 2:19 PM Wednesday the exhaust was sitting in my house.
I have never gotten that kind of response from any other after market company and I have dealt with a lot of them in styling my WRX.
Also thanks to all the mates for their constructive comments.
