My first local scooby meet...and what a nice bunch of people!
Started of with driving past Jimi at J12 of M1.
Then we parked up waiting for colin to come along.
"20mins and we'll be there".
Slight little de tour....no problem though as you can't beat a good bit of twisty road in a scooby!
Finally make it to Fox and Hounds...and WOW! what a site ..car park taken over by numerous Scoobs.
Went to P'boro afters via the B660...hehe. Now that is a nice stretch of road.
Looking forward to the next one.

Preferably one that does not clash with any other local meets. I live on the boarder of Herts and Beds and Herts won today as it was 1/4 the distance! Next time I home to be at the Beds one and meet some more new friends.

Good turnout, didnt get to talk to everyone but always next time, perhaps we make it more central bedford so people heading up from south (colin and a few others) dont have so far.
Cheers

Couldn't have been me Gary!
My car is totally standard, and so is actually very quiet!
Am looking at getting more noise though...following Colin and Jimi confirmed that one.
You probably heard the other Sti8 there...PPP'd with Firestorm.

count me in for next meet, as long as its a weekend - bloody work gets in the way of all the fun. ampthill sounds middle'ish but i dont mind where as long as there's some decent roads to it, have to work up a thirst, know what i mean nod/nod/wink/wink.
chungster - you definately got to get some noise from that motor man, have a listen to my de-cated group/n system at the next meet, make your toe's curl !!!!!!
gary.k - had any luck sorting your bumper/light yet?

re: next meet,
there's the kings arms in cardington? its got a decent carpark & tables/seats outside (weather permitting) and did good food, but its been a while since i've been in there.
where ever we meet lets try for sooner rather than later, had a brill time at last one, i think we should the momentum up.
