Hi ScoobynSon
Soz for extreme delay in reply!!!!
Yes that is my car parked up in Wakey every day (as you put it on show)!!!!
The reason that it is not clean at the moment is that it is going for some work doing within the next week. Once this is done I assure you all that it will be pristine once again. But until I am friends with thecar again its stays as is!!!!!

Hi Corradoboy - cheers, got it in the diary now.
Yup, pics developed, but too lazy to scan them in..... Now that's bad, as the scanner is only 5 feet from where I'm typing this, so I should really get my **** into gear (or bring them along next time!).
Nope, I've gotta get 'em scanned and posted up before that. You've pricked my conscience, so I'll try to get them done tomorrow (or ask Kath to sort them for me!).
Cheers, HB.

Harry - I presume Kath is the young lady who arrived later and stood with us at the bar (and kept insulting you).
if so - she'll be too busy doing the house up - and after she's finished that I need her to do some jobs on my house if she wouldn't mind. LOL

Hi Mate. Yes, Kath is 'the other half', and takes great delight in insulting me and my silly toys...... Car, camera, X-Box, Ipaq, even my new wireless LAN.....
Given a suitable fee (negotiated by her agent ), I'm sure she'd be delighted to lend a hand with whatever project!
The funny thing is that, no matter what the insults are at the time, she still delights in using the car, the computer, the camera, even the wallet..... Anyways, no matter, she's grand!
Cheers and see you next time, HB.

How much have you been charging the kids to ride in your car....
You should charge them for pulling the felt off your shed roof as they use your garden as a play ground...

Guys and girls, I like planning ahead. So, just an idea to toss around at this early stage.
The 200 Plus club are having a Scooby shootout at Elvington on Sunday 28th september. Clicky
This is neatly a month after our own Fenay Bridge meet. Question is; Who fancies popping off to this gig for our September meet? A few reasons...
1. Bit of a change to the bridge (which IMHO should be our permanent 'West Yorkshire chapter' meeting location) but nice for a change all the same.
2. Gives us a chance to have a convoy/drive out (Kev-T's favourite).
3. Get to see some scooby action. (I won't be taking part, just watching)
4. Would be a day out rather than a few hours, where we can still have a meal and a drink together.
With plenty of advanced warning we should be able to make it a date. But if a lot of people can't make this date, then we can still have 'the bridge' and this as a side extra.
Of course we can talk more at the meet on the 27th, but at least it can be discussed a little now.
Looking forward to seeing you all again on Wednesday 27th.

I'm interested too.... That's why my little baby is already on the list. Not for the competition factor though, just to see what she can do that 1/4 mile in, and top speed as well
So I am defo up for the convoy up there.
Confirmation also that Wed 27th is my first day back at work after a two week break, starting today and no late shift so I will not be backing out of the next meet...
Besides, this famous food has got some reputation to live up to...
Cheers
Simon

Kev Turbo,
Mind if I come on the 27th? I'm from south Manchester but Ellis (guy from the Fenay with the Beetle) is a good friend.
Cheers,
Pete

Harryboy,
I've got a UK99 turbo with a few little mods!! (340bhp)
As for Beetles, they have their place in history.....where would the flat 4 engine have come from without 'em! Never had one myself though.
See you at the Fenay. Cheers guys.
Pete

Hi guys!
Me & my scoob are friends again now having thrown £££s at for a new clutch, timing belt & getting the crackshaft oil seals fixed!!!
Only had the first two done because of the latter though!!
The guys who did it were great they even re-set the car up and its now running smoother and faster than it ever has in my ownership!
To celebrate I have given it a wash!!! Yes a wash, its first one since about two weeks before the Fenay meet!!!
The only problem with this is that I have found that some jealous tw*t has scratched the passenger back wing. Hopefully this will t-cut out but it still p*sses me off!
Anywayz rant over!!!
I have a game on the 27 August with 6.30 kick off but I will come down straight from the game and say hello to everyone. If the buffet is still on count me in!!!
Laters guys!

Hi Corradoboy - yeah, I know! I'll bring the originals along to the next meet! Just too lazy to scan 'em in.....
Of course, if I were to 'give' them to someone else in the group to scan and post, then they might find their way onto Scoobynet.
<Running mode on> Ahem, any volunteers???
CU soon, HB.

HB Scanner runs off USB power, so battery will prob last about 45mins. But I'd feel a real geek sat scanning in the corner of a pub.

Soz 4 delay in reply, not been at a machine all weekend!!!
Playing for Burton on Sats and Dragon on Suns.
The day of the meet, we are playing one of the Chesterfield sides. Dont know which one, would suspect it will be one of the youth sides. Are you not playing this year?

After 17 whole days away from the internet I finally return. Good to see the topic is still on the first page and more people are adding names to the list.
Now I need an answer to the following question(s)
Am I supposed to be arranging a buffet or not??? If so for how many???
Help please
Kev
