There'll be a few guys there who have either never had a meet before.. or who have never met up with this particular bunch (me). I've seen a couple on the road, but never met up.
But you are right, and but by the look of it we'll be doing some lasagne.. a few shandies, some loooong stories about mods, taking a peek at the other motors there and generally meeting up with some like minded guys (and gals?) to talk about all things scoob...
I've done a few meets, when I was living in London, and they've always been good fun.
Give it a try.... Shall we see you there?

Confess that I've never been to a meet before, even though I've been Scoobying since March 02..... Looking forward to meeting some like minded guys. Anyone bringing their other halves???

Keep 'em coming.
I was at the pub earlier this week and they were not at all busy meaning we should get a free run of the car park, there was also an offer of a cheap buffet if we wanted???????
Anyway lets see how the first meet goes and who turns up, we can make any decisions about future meeting places, dates, possible runs, etc, etc then.
So don't be shy everyone, come out to play. I am certainly not a mad axe murderer and I am trusting that no one else who plans to attend is either......

Was really looking forward to going to the meet as it would've been my first..
but unfortunatley I'm not gonna be able to make it cos of work commitments (dont finish till 9:30pm then got to drive home from Manchester)
got to go in really to keep my scoob fed and watered with only the best..
hope you get a good turn out and keep us posted for when the next one will be

I'm still defo coming but if it is a regular thing i'm going to struggle Tues, Weds and Thurs due to Footballing committments!!!!
But i'm intrigued to see which motors turn up to this one!! Just praying I can sort my car out by then as it hit FCD twice on Tuesday so dare not give it any hammer till I've had chance to clean / check everything out on Sat!!! And as sods law would have it I really needed the power today on the way to work thanks to some pr*ck in a 7.5tonne van who decided to overtake me on a blind bend when there was a car in front to realise this then force his way in. Did he really think i'd be doing 45 in a 60 if there wasnt something in front of me - MUPPET!! Anyways I'm digressing now!
If any1 wants to help me fix the Scoob on Sat either let me know on here or e-mail me on martyn@jax2001.freeserve.co.uk

Sorry but I have overlooked that I am on back shift (12pm to 9pm) all next week. I work in Stoke-on-Trent (believe it or not) so getting back to the Fenay Bridge for about 10pm would be an absolute miracle.
Never mind, hope this one works out well, as I am sure it will and i'll be along for the next one...
Gonna have to be a little bit longer before we get to meet and have a chat HarryBoy
In the meantime though, is anyone going to Ten Of The Best in August??? Can always break the ice there and say hello.
