Well so far, so good.

It helps that the crash repairer that I wanted to use is owned by an old chum of Sal's Dad. So a quick phonecall got things moving quickly and I know they will do a good job.

He doesn't reckon that two weeks is a problem as long as they can get the parts, so we'll have to wait and see. If not Richard, then yes, we'll bring John's car over with us.

Car is now at the garage, quote for repair will be going off this evening and authorisation should be through by tomorrow - which is pretty good going.

So top marks so far to M J Warner (repairers), Greenlight and Onecall who are handling the claim.

Thanks again for all the kind words.

Chris

Richard

Update for you:

Spoke to the garage today. Once they had removed the bumper assembly, they found more damage. Result is that the car is going to be delayed. This means it won't be ready for Germany

So we'll be bringing John's Impreza instead. Not too much of a problem as it is a lovely car (silver classic with STIV spoiler, Brembo brakes, Leda B, OZ alloys and Scoobysport exhaust ).

If anything changes, I'll let you know.

Cheers
Chris

I'm sure the personal injury compensation will soften the pain!

Only kidding by the way..... I don't condone this unless there is legitimate injury!

Matt

MJ Warner in New Road, Ware, run by an old friend of Dad's. They did a marvellous job on my Dad's scoob when he drove into a gate post and also on my MX5 when Chris drove it a bit too closely to the brick wall on the end of the drive.
