If you like your 70's rock then you should be listening to Darkness, I'm not sure if they are serious or whether they are a classy Spinal Tap with plenty of irony, an unsigned band discovered by Xfm and given a recording contract, they even opened Glasto this year, anyone see them on CD UK (missus was watching it honest) bare chested, satin lycra trousers, full on 70's glam.

Allanb Janes Addiction have their first new song out for 13 years on Jul 14th, entitled Just Because, and its a cracking song, being played to death on Xfm, it was worth the wait!!

just bought the darkness album today. VERY good! also had the good charlottes album playing in my car for a while, not very heavy, but still pretty good

 

Saw OTEP at OZZFEST last year on the small inside stage with a band called Mushroom Head. Both were ******* ace.
Mushroom head are just like a much heavier version of Faith No More with keyboards and stuff.
Definatly worth checking out if you like it heavy.

I could go on. I feel at the moment there is a very diverse choice of music,it's just a matter of trying something different.
