Hmm went for a test drive in a Leon today. 02 reg, 14k, 1.9 tdi SE. Felt like a block of lard on wheels. Steering was airy, seats were soft but no grip, gearbox was like holding a gearstick that was sticking into a bowl of jelly.

People are getting Import RHD, UK spec + cruise, Xenon etc. New Ibiza TDi Sport with the 130 engine (chippable to 180+bhp 300+ lb/ft) for £10,500 with a week's wait just now.
