If we continue to take in the amount of asylum seekers every month/year then its going to create more social problems in the longrun.
All that money spent on asylum could be spent elsewhere i'e hospitals, education.

I'm sick to death of our welfare state. That applies to everyone who uses it as a 'Scrounge.' No more handouts fullstop. And yes that applies to you Tracy who want a nice council house when you get up the duff- NO!!!!!

Anyway, I have a friend who came here as an immigrant from Serbia. He didnt want to fight in a war he didnt believe in and see/suffer all the attrocities, so he ran.

He has lived here for over 5 years, and succesfully applied through the correct channels to live in this country. He now runs his own interior decorating business and currently is working on a contract in a large London hotel.

Now i know he may be in the minority but you cant pigeon-hole all immigrants as the same. And dont give me all that "he's taking the locals jobs" rubbish.

Your knowledge of geography is very poor if Glasgow is abroad, perhaps you are just up late on a school night What exactly are your great ideas on the subject ? or have you not covered in GCSE Modern studies yet ?

 

Now camk, I'm assuming that you don't get up in the morning, head to the airport, work in say... Germany and then come back home to Scotland to sleep. Hence my 'stay abroad' comment. Your obviously a very well educated man if you've got your GCSE Modern Studies, and in no way could I be in a better position to comment on asylum than yourself. You might want to go for the big one next and try Social Studies.

 

And is Scotland not still part of Europe . If your're so strongly against it then please explain why. That's your problem too happy to follow what you read in the Sun. Wake up and get yourself some individual ideas.
