THANKS MARK and the other guys for a great day today. I really enjoyed the track today. Getting quicker towards the end following the 2 laps with the demon instructor..what a driver..
Learned loads and cant wait for the next one. Really helps know the limits you car will go to..especially when an ex touring car champion is driving your car..
Well done MARK on a great day...

Cheers Kane what a day your not wrong, glad the brakes survived Davids subtle touch!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good bunch of guys on track all made the day shame about the ferrari crashing out just two miles from the Circuit.
Part from having to swap tyres to get home car ran really well
spring blast next

You can get the Dunlop road legal slicks from Jason or Micheal on 0121 306 7002, I reckon you'll get 215/40 - 17 for about £100 each!
They do last pretty well as mine are hardly worn after 1500 road miles and the trackday which as you witnessed was pretty hard on the tyres!
I was very impressed with how quick my RA was, enjoyed overtaking the 360 modena and all those P1's!!!
Cheers
Dom.

Great day Mark and a good mix of machinery.
Sent an e-mail to you all but would be interested to know what times people were doing as we didn't really all get a chance to have a chat at the end of the day.
My standard brakes let me down as they were juddering beyond belief and suffering from severe fade - one incident at Quarry as Derrick will vouch for and I am still wondering how we got round the corner !.
It was my first track day (although I started hillclimbing this year)and was doing about 1.30 but with the slicks 1.25. The difference with slicks was amazing and certainly good for 5 secs + a lap. I am sure with a bit more confidence and a decent set of Brembo's 1.20 or less would be no problem. A bit more power wouldn't go a miss either as 260bhp must have been some 20bhp less than the P1's and about 70bhp less than the RA.

Didnt do any timed laps however what I can honestly say is that Doms RA is B*()dy quick very impressive, tyres looked the biz.
Quick drivers of the day, Dom, Damien (that M5 shifts), Hugh in his PPP WRX. CC didnt really let the Ferrari or TVR get away, amazed how quickly the cobra went, well driven, so in my standard P1 couldnt touch RA and M5, could hold TVR and Ferraris but didnt have the power to overtake, no problem with the caterham, Westfield or lotus's. Can honestly say that my biggest reduction for lap times was after two sessions with David the instructor.

Oh guys forgot to mention the Manager at CC grabbed and thanked you all for driving so well. Obviously he missed the gardening in the morning !! And will fix this years prices for next year, will more than likely be booking both CC and Goodwood next year. 28 cars for CC and 36 for Goodwood.

You can count me and Damian in for both events, Mark.
Give you all a chance to see the RA in action again, also Damians Tuscan Red Rose which is a sight to behold when driven in anger!!
The RA will have a few more mod's done so I reckon we might be able to get her near the 1min 15's......!
Cheers

Dom just spoke to the guys ref supersport slicks and they priced for 17" £130 and 18" £140(225/40/18 fitting 7.5 to 9.5) thats really good price..
As i am getting the godspeed BB conv november cant go with 17" so will be buying 18's now...thanks for the information m8.
LOL...Then onto powerstation for alignment/bumpsteer etc.etc. Will then need some info from you on ECU's m8..lol
Dont want to look at the costs yet..already spending more than i said i would...LOL
