Looking at booking either Castle Combe or Goodwood for a full day,
open pit lane, maximum track time, minimum cars plus instructors, loads of passenger rides late Sept or Oct anyone out there interested. Novices welcome as there wont be many cars running.

See Privateer article in True Grip, Which was an article I did on my last two days last year.

Need 16 cars to make Castle Combe VFM, 26 cars for Goodwood.
Have 11 mixed cars already. 3rd Scooby, 3rd Caterham type, 3rd Porker/TVR.

Question

Fancy some Skodas?

That is a serious question as some of us do like to go on track, we have a few novices as well, who'd like to try it out.

Could probably arrange 5 or 6 of us. Oh and we promise not hold people up too much Mail me as per profile if you are OK with that or post it over on Briskoda

Thanks for your interest all welcome cost for full day will be £205
for either 17 cars at Castle Combe or 27 Cars at Goodwood, difference between tracks is track time. with 17 Cars at Castle Combe you will get 90 mins track time at Goodwood you will get at least 150 mins on track. Plus many passenger rides, in car instruction is 20 per slot if needed from Rob Manger Racing.

Up to 13 potential cars to date, looking good at CC will run 4 cars at a time, so loads of room to exploit your car at Goodwood approx 7 so once again loads of space. Interest to date split 50-50 between booking GW and CC.

Instructors can be arranged if there is enough interest.

Really acase of getting enough for me to feel safe about paying upfront for a confirmed date. 80% there. As your in Andover both
GW and CC are pretty close, pop down and say hello and why not drive.

Up to 16 potential cars, Castle Combe the most popular

dates could be 2 or 30 Sep-6,20,24 or 27 Oct all at the
beginning or end of week should people want to get together
over a beer before or after.

Stormy,

Very interested, the only problem is the noise levels. Do you know what these are at Castle Coombe?

Cheers
Dom.
I'll bring my RA, M5 and my bro's Tuscan if I pass the noise test.

Castle Combe is 98 db, Ill check to see if that is still the case
most scoobies got on track at the Japfest so Id imagine yours would
pass unless you have the Blitz Nur R system which hit 104 db Im told. Tuscan good question I arranged a track day at Goodwood last April and I had a Tuscan and Cerbera running. They also have a 98 db limit for 10 car days. The Cerbera will be down as well.

Cheers

Hey dom that will be interesting, Ill put my money
on the RA but we will see on the day how they compare
21 drivers cars there.

One car that always puts the cat amongst the pidgeons
is a Sprint prepared Escort Cossie. It handles seriously
well at Castle Combe a good bench mark.
