Took mine to local garage, had to haggle them down to £70. Doh!
Still, at least I know it will be a good job
More power soon though, looking forward to this immensely. Pick it up at half past 5, so two and a quarter hours until I get more pops, bangs and fun! I canne wait cap'n!!

Got mine and fitted it last night. It costed me a packet of **** and a couple cans of beer! I think I did well there!

I've got to say, IT'S DAMN LOUD! Pick up speed is a lot quicker but the downpipe sounds "pingy" because it's Stainless Steel. Still can't really grumble but I don't think my neighbours will put up with me much longer.

Still, thinks to twigster for organising it and H & S for providing a tremendous service - thought I had missed the courier so H & S gave me the couriers number and also phoned them themselves to find out where it is.

Thanks what I call service.

Cheers

Shucks, missed this thread, and Ian from H&S says group buy complete!

Are there more people who wanna get a decent downpipe at a good price? I.e. any one else wanna sort a group buy?

Ta

Well finally got it fitted myself yesterday 2.5 hours for mine and about 1.5 for my mates once we'd figgered out what we were doing.

Needed an aweful lot of tools to get at various inaccesible bits - good job my brothers got a decent tool set.

Worst bit was getting the turbo heat shield off. Lambda sensor was a bit of a barsteward but came out eventually. Once the old one's off its all downhill form there.

And bloody hell what a difference it makes. Pick up is massively improved and noise is much better. Can here turbo spinning up & down as well.

We're thinking of lagging ours to help things as well.

Cheers again Matt for sorting.

Would there be enough interest in another H&S Downpipe group buy, i.e. can we get 10 people who want one, like above? Same price, models etc. I believe.

Interested in a full system, or just a downpipe if the price is right.
