I've talked to Wightlink as well now. As long as we bring more than 15 cars there will be an approx 20% discount from the usual price. (From what I can make out that seems to be approx £55 per car)
I need to put it all in writing etc. so it can all get lost in their system.

I've been asking Krud about this trip for a while now, so I'm well up for it. The Mrs is working those weekends so I'll be on my own. (is that a problem?)

I got Red funnel down to £45 last year!
Can you ask if we can get the same deal for any one who wants to join us on Sat and find out if it would be OK if we wanted to leave on an earlier or later sailing.
(might be worth going for a late one, maybe 17.05???)

Sounds like you've got a fair few to invade us Islanders !!!! Any views on arranging a joint meet with www.SEATenthusiasts.co.uk as Dyney posted earlier ???
The guys on the IOW know of me and I'm sure will tell you that we're a friendly bunch.
Of course we wouldn't want to invade your whole weekend but a nice cruise together would be ideal. We do have quite a few members that want to make the step up from the 20VT range to Scooby power so would be interesting all round. Infact we do have a member who regulary attends the SEAT/VAG events in his Scooby !!!
Either way I'm sure I'll see you about anyway.
