NM and everyone else - I believe the show opens it's doors to the public at 09:00hrs (Both days) so the earlier you are there the better. I will be ther at about 07:30 on Saturday morning to sort you lot out

 

Another reminder to everyone attending -

I'm thinking of holding a show and shine competition over the weekend.
I have had some replies (of whom I will email) but want to know if anybody else is interested.
It's not to concours standard, car just has to be clean.

At the moment we need a few more cars to make this viable.
If interested please email me, with you car details (so I know what category to put you in)
Categories would be "Best classic" "Best Newage" "Best Car Overall"

Muddy is back in Belguim now and will not be back home until the friday before the show.

John B : Im sure he could do with some help. Can you email him with a phone no and ill get him to ring you. He will be in London next weekend so he will do it then.

as well as so Darrens just scared he wont get let in lol. But i guess we do need to know if there is anything special with these passes (what was japfest set up?) as while i'm quite recognisable some of you maybe less distinguished lmao & be worried

You will pay on the day when you arrive at the show. The carpasses will be sent to you by e-mail on Saturday and must be printed off and displayed in your windscreen. They must not be altered in any way. When you arrive you will be directed to the SIDC stand.
If you do not receive the pass please e-mail or post on this thread.

The show and shine has 9 entrants on the Saturday and 13 on the Sunday so far (split between classic and newage). The entrance fee will be around £2each. If any more want to join then it will be cheaper for everyone.

A slight problem with the car passes being sent out on Saturday. I will be leaving very early Saturday morning to get there from Bristol with enough time to clean the car etc for the show & shine

 

this saturday mate, the 19th not the day of the event, thats the 26th

Yes I did get your mail and your down on the Sunday in the newage category.

I have got 22 people entering the show and shine over the two days in both categories so there is enough interest to go ahead.
There will be an award for the overall best car too.

Saturday Classic 8
Saturday Newage 4

Sunday Classic 4
Sunday Newage 6

The price for six trophies is £32.00 approx so the entrance fee will be £1.50 each to cover this cost. If we have any more entries on the day we will reduce this. Hope this is ok with everyone.
