For more Info go http://www.japcarclub.com/jae/ or http://www.japcarclub.com/jae/forums/
For a display area guide go here http://www.japcarclub.com/jae/pitchguide.jpg

If you are interested in attending and would like to be in the display area, please post below.
Please indicate whether you going for the weekend or just for the 1 day (Saturday or Sunday) this will enable me to work out the numbers I’m dealing with, don’t want to over fill.

As we only have a 35 car area, places are limited.

I will probably go along the same system as Japfest where I’ll send you out a car pass.
But I will deal with this later.

You pay on the day, no need to buy tickets from SIDC.

Cheers,

Craig Mudd aka "Muddy"
SIDC Regional Organiser

PS> I'll be camping :-)

ARM-Scooby 15 May 2003 01:08 PM

i would be up for that, probably go on a sunday here

NM 15 May 2003 03:43 PM

I am up for a day at the JAE most likely Sunday :D

I will organise a convoy from Cov as the date closes in.

I am sure we can help you out with people for the stand as we have some sweet motors amongst our group. I will have a chat with them at the next meet and we should be able to fill in any gaps on the stand you may have over the JAE weekend.

Good to see the SIDC getting involved this year as there was a lack of Scooby support last year.

Cheers

Neal (Cov area meet organiser)

WagonRich 15 May 2003 04:26 PM

Sunday for me too.

Rich

muddy 15 May 2003 06:30 PM

I have you all down to attened.

NM - Are your Cov lot going to post on here? The reason I ask is they will then be assured a spot in the area.

What I intend to do is, email a carpass to those that want to go. A bit like what we have done for Japfest.
This will then assure them of a space, it'll let me know what numbers I have attending and will also let me know how many spaces I have free, for those that just turn up (Expecting to get on)on the day.

So there is a little method in my madness.

Is this ok with everyone.

It'll be a while before I sort out carpass etc.

Cheers

Muddy.:):)

Good news to see that scoobies will be well represented at Billings this year, I attend this event every year. We will be coming up from sunny Cornwall again this year and should be camping Friday, Saturday and Sunday night if you need any assistance with anything.

Until last year I was always in the Toyota/Lexus camp who always have a good display. Last year I turned up in my WRX STI and felt bit like a spare part at a wedding.

Cheers

Bob

P.S.
We will also be attending JAPS on 28 & 29 June at Thoresby Park Nr Ollerton this is also a good event if you are available that weekend.

muddy 16 May 2003 11:22 AM

Cheers Bob, I will put you down for the weekend. I may be camping as well so may need some help.
For JAPS (Which I am organising as well) go to Midlands section and reply there.

NM 16 May 2003 12:56 PM

Hi Muddy

The Cov lot are a lazy bunch so dragging them up early for the day might be a challenge ! Though we have seen some early convoys in the past (Santa pod, Midland Rally and a few roller sessions). I will chase up any interest and confirm at our next meet.

What time will we have to be on the stand ?
when is the finish time ?
Will we have to stay put on the stand or can individuals leave early if required?

What I can say is if you have spaces left when it get closer to the date we should be able to fill the gaps !

I will mail you with pix of cars we have in our group.

Cheers

muddy 16 May 2003 10:30 PM

NM thanks for your support :)

Answers to your questions~

1. I envisage we will need to be at the show between 08:00-09:00hrs to enable us to set up the stand the way we like it.
This is for both days.(Although this won't matter if your camping)
2. Not sure when the show finishes, generally shows like this tend to fizzle out by 16:00hrs, but as far as i'm concerned you can leave when you like.
3. As answer 2, as well as you are free to walk around the show and leave your car on the stand, you don't have to stay with the car all day :)

Thanks for the thread in Midlands section - I will have to make a list of how's coming shortly I think.

Scooby-si- I'm camping, it'll be my first time too, I'm hoping others will too, coz i don't want to be Billy no Mates>

Muddy

If you can keep aside say 10 - 12 spaces for the Coventry crew just for the Sunday that will be great. We will have loads more cars but we have to leave spaces for others :D. If anyone is up for Saturday or the whole weekend incl camping I will get them to get in touch with you.

Cheers
