Fair point Dh, although "he who is without sin and all that":

First post, page 2. Is that not offensive language?

Cool

B1tching and complaining won't change the current situation will it?

But maybe we all ought to think about the wording of our posts in future?

Toonman - there's a difference (IMHO) between using "foul" language, directed at shall we say "public figures", and using "offensive language" directed at other board members.

On a board such as this, where the majority of posters are adults, I personally don't object to the first, albeit within reason. However the second, as practised by SwinYE5 earlier in this thread, is immature, un-called for, and unwelcome.

I must agree, though, that ash1 has in the past resorted to name calling and so is in no position to criticise others for it.

[Edited due to comma overload!]

It looks like some of you hate United more than you care to admit. That's why we love it so much when we win things.

In fact, there are a lot of fans of some clubs who would rather see United lose than their team win. I find this very hard to get my head round, but it's true...

Or are you a typical Liverpool fan, and your hatred of ManYu means you'll side with any team that opposes them?
My observations of Ash poses this exact question...

Chill out guys. If you looked at my first post there was a little winking face.....you know like ... This to me says that the content of the post is a bit 'tongue in cheek'...

Brilliant!!!

We earned that like no other and even after all those injurys and operations back in Oct-Nov, brilliant punt by Fergie, he was spot on, "bite the bullet and have them all back for the new year", it worked a treat.
Ruud has been outstanding, I dont know of a striker who works as hard.

Brilliant!!!

Go on Anelka - your man was worth the £13m after all Kippax

Well, put your money on BORO winning the title next year - the odds are favourable!!

Go on, you KNOW it makes sense!!

One of these years I 'might' just win my money back!!

As long as we do the usual thrashing of Man Utd and Newcastle then I will sleep well!!

Pete

"usual thrashing"

Pete,

Wasn't it 26 years since you last beat us in the Top Flight at Home? First win against us at the Riverside too! How long have you been there now...???

Swin - your reference to a post somewhat later on this thread is pure genius, I'm not a mind reader. Yes I do have the usual Pool/ManUre thing, but I wouldn't go and publicly swear at someone on a forum.

So I assume that I can make a post on here, slag everyone off but then say its ok guys cos I have a winky on my post ? Nice try, but you're sounding like Arsene now i.e. some things are better left unsaid....

Ash, if you want to remain bitter, feel abused and make a mountain out of a mole hill then that's up to you...

As I said, it was tongue in cheek, and if you want to interpret it any other way then that's your perogative.

One more thing - from the bottom of my heart for Sunday - come on you blues.

Wasn't making a mountain out of a molehill, just don't think there was a need to be so offensive. I've not even mentioned the rest of your post (its a free forum, not just reserved for you !)

Anyway, don't want this to get a personal thing and lose the importance of this thread.
