Venger shouldn't have said they'd go the whole Season unbeaten (Sept '02?), and that they should just give them the Title there and then (Nov '02?)... He didn't look so smug tonight (May '03).

They reached the FA Cup final, we reached the Worthless final. We got further in the CL and won the PL. They beat us in the FA Cup but we took four points off them in the PL.

I think if you check out a few of the major Footballing websites, most are astounded at what he's said as well. There are headlines out there like:

"Wenger Needs To Learn Some Humility"

He's blaming injuries (all Clubs have them), suspensions (he should get the team to clean up their game), and having to play teams with something to fight for (er, don't all teams have that, including his own...?).
