Excellent play lads. Cant believe the form we have showed in the last half of the season. Ruud still top scorer as well. Scholes, Solskjaer and Giggs on the top scorers table too.

Venger shouldn't have said they'd go the whole Season unbeaten (Sept '02?), and that they should just give them the Title there and then (Nov '02?)... He didn't look so smug tonight (May '03).

I think you will find that Wenger did offer congratulations to ManUre, all be it grudingly I guess.

Well, if Pete Lewis can congratulate you guys then it would be bad form for me not to being a Villa fan and all that. Villa fans being the nicest fans in the League.

They reached the FA Cup final, we reached the Worthless final. We got further in the CL and won the PL. They beat us in the FA Cup but we took four points off them in the PL.

Swin - very big of you that, I was only quoting what I read on one of the BBC threads saying that he used the word 'could' and not 'would'. I am an admirer of Wenger and his methods. And yes he offer his congratulations as I heard it on 606 when I was decorating.

I think if you check out a few of the major Footballing websites, most are astounded at what he's said as well. There are headlines out there like:
"Wenger Needs To Learn Some Humility"
He's blaming injuries (all Clubs have them), suspensions (he should get the team to clean up their game), and having to play teams with something to fight for (er, don't all teams have that, including his own...?).

Gosh, you're very sensitive Ash or are you related to Wenger in some way? Or are you a typical Liverpool fan, and your hatred of ManYu means you'll side with any team that opposes them?
I don't care for ManYu or Arsenal, but this Season the best team overall, and the best we played Home and Away, has been ManYu. Given the results, I'd be an idiot to claim otherwise...
