After phoning Friday morning was toild to call back in the afternoon. Couldn't get through (diverted to his voicemail) tried many times over the weekend to no avail - even left message to call me. Tried a couple of times this morning and just got through. He's says he's not unpacked the consignment which kinda says he's received it (or is that just wishful thinking on my part?). He's taken my order but no payment. says he'll phone me when he's despatching them to take payment. Not sure whether to believe this or am I getting the fob off?

Anyone with similar experiences? Bit like the note above I trust him to deliver eventually but will time run out on my current boots?!!

I spoke to Dave this morning and was told i could collect my tyres tomorrow morning (as i am not far away). So hopefully will pick up a set of 215/40/17, however i have already paid for them about 3 weeks ago!

Hmm I am down that way this weekend but will probably have a car full of passengers and want to keep my old tyres so a no go - doh!

Just spoke to David to check on my order for four 205/50/R16s. He assured me that they'll be here by the end of the week. I'm in N Wales, so there's not much chance of me picking them up.

Iv'e also had my refund couple of weeks ago, been trying to get hold of David via e-mail and leaving messages but no response. I hope he will send me a set a re-bill my card as he assured me when i ordered i would get some.

I have just been on the phone to David at Crossroads and he says that the tyres have arrived, but he has not yet had a chance to sort them all out, and to please be patient for a few more days.

He asked that I post this explanation as he has been overwhelmed with phone calls, and has broken the modem on his laptop so has not been able to pickup or reply to emails.

cefski, ive heard a few bad things about the ITG filter...can cause problems.

I was told, if you are not running any other mods, you are best sticking to a standard panel filter..

Just tried calling as Im wanting the tyres on the car as Im selling it. Got throught to voicemail. Asked him to call me back.

Originally ordered on 29th April so dont hold out much hope tbh.

Must have called over a dozen times and left a message each time asking to phone back, and sent 4 emails. Not once has he called back or replied to email so getting a bit frustrated.

Has any one managed to get through to Crossroads and actually obatined any of the Goodyears yet ??

I've tried a loads of times to get hold of them, the latest BS was that they would be available from Wednesday, but could not get hold of them today and need to sort out some new boots for my Scooby.

 

Got through this morning, and spoke to David, and then actually got a call back, hopefully I'l get the tyres soon, if I don't, i guess i'll just get some cheap ones elsewhere.
At the price, it's worth a bit of agg!! especailly as I should be getting 8!

I did have faith, spoke to him yesterday, he promised me it wouldnt be a problem to sort them out today, he knew that i had to get them fitted by wednesday at the absolute latest. Left him a voicemail this morning, got one back shortly later saying no problem, he had some personal stuff to take care of but then would call me back later after he picked the tyres up for me.

No call back, I left two messages for him this afternoon, getting increasingly more annoyed and finally left a message saying to get back to me by 17:00 or I would assume that it wasnt going to happen and I would expect my money back.

No call back, so now got to spend tomorrow desperately trying to find some more - had a ring round this avo and no one got anything half decent in stock!

So much for me having a good feeling about this
