Thumbs up

Andy

They are only a 'bit' wide lol.

Maybe some less extreme wheels & arches could be in order then.

Andy, just a suggestion, but what about something a bit older with rear wheel drive?

A spitfire or something of that ilk? Tr7?

Probably spend 12 grand welding the ******* tho' Lol

mazda rx7 and bung the triple rotor engine, port it and a little boost hay presto 600-700bhp
can pick rx7s up for about £8k that leaves £12k to mod it supposed to handle pritty good and a light car to start with

Spitfire is a bit bendy with its separate chassis, not sure if any TR7's have floors left

Probe and RX7 both have good Cd figures Bit bigger (heavier) than a CRX.
I think the RX7 is car which the UK have still to waken up to. Check out how many there are in Auz ! Big bhp too !

True Andy,true,

Just think of the weight saving tho'
What about an older Audi? 80's,90's,coupes etc. Know theyre a bit on the heavy side, but iirc they have good drag coefficient's and are fairly sturdy so could probably take a hell of a lot of power.

I did have plans for my girlfriends 126 once (hyabusa engine etc), but it never happend.
Already been done, there's a guy over here who put an 1100 kawasaki turbo bike engine in it with ~200+bhp and RWD. Did the quarter in sub 13 seconds, but struggled with a lack of LSD. very though

Isn't that the Sunbeam stilletto with the 3.5 V8?
Lots of records went at our hill yesterday as it's got new tarmac. There's 3 scoobs competing this year, a UK turbo, an STi RA and Dale Crowley's rally job, I'll try to post videos sometime.
