Only had my scoob since Sunday afternoon and I find people are a lot more respectfull and actually don't drive up my ****.
EXCEPT this morning when a Max Powered Citroen thingy was behind me at the lights and was right on my tail for the first 100yds, shame really cos my engine was stone cold and I was driving like Miss Daisy at the time.
I think people just egg you on so they can see what you got.
I did it to a Suzuki Hayabusa once when I was on my CBR600, purposely revving my bike and staring at him, soon as the lights went amber we both shot off. Christ those things are quick
Left me for dead, but that's what I wanted.

Having owned a Sport for a number of years I though I would have got used to the boy racers in their vauxhall paxo's and corsa's by now... but after picking up my new MY03 STI even I was suprised at the crazy stunt one guy did to get past me...

I was crusing down one of our fast A roads with my girlfriend with me, and being she's nervous, I was keeping below silly speeds.

I spotted some lights in my mirror just after I overtook a line of trafic and sensing blob may have clocked me earlier up the road backed off to just above the speed limit.
We were now closing up on another slower car, and I backed off some more as there was a tanker comming the other way. The next thing I saw was a Corsa along side me with every intention of taking both of us off the road. I hit the breaks quite hard, thinking he had to go somewhere, and I didn't want it to be through me!! He swerved across the front of me.. and unable to slow down enough, swerved into a large lay-by (lucky b##@!) then proceeded to undertake the car in front (sideways by this time) across gravel etc...
I really thought he was going to slingshot back into the traffic comming the other way and involve us all in a huge pileup.. but he managed to keep the rear wheels behind the front and sped off in a cloud of dust (& stones) leaving me with a nice stone chip on my new bonnet, and my girlfriend convinced that me getting this car was a bad idea!!
Cheers As#"*hole!!

Never really had any problems except with a few small hatchbacks who you can tell straight away are an accident waiting to happen.

Actually had a funny incident a few weeks back. I was travelling down the motorway and and was early so was sitting in lane 1 doing about 60 (trying too increase mpg and keep temps down) and spot a scoob coming up doing about 70. As soon as the guy saw me he slowed to my pace and dropped in behind and gave me a headlight flash and wave and dropped in behind and followed me for 10 minutes or so. I turned off the motorway and he went passed and a nice wave .

The best funniest was the convoy to the notts big one, I was leading and we were well below the speed limit on a dual carriageway to make sure we didnt lose anyone and the looks and waves we got was amazing. By the time cars overtook me in a line of 10 imprezas the kids in th eback of most of them were going mad.

Seems scoobs turn some heads and 10 in a line turn every head .
