Yeah quite a few in Cheshire J4Ck0, I do think they're the best looking 3 series though, and I don't normally like the look of Beemers...

 

i have an 330i and a evo 7RS for blasting around twisties

on the wet i love the 330i put asc off and cbc you fully slide around bends and roundabouts with some nice music on the background.

lovely.

never thought i'd get on with an auto, but i've got to say, i'm totally hooked!! maybe it's my age........

 

Yes car did get looser with age.

I'd never have anything other than than an auto now for a daily runner/commuter....but, the auto box is no where near as well suited to the 330i as the 330d. The mass torque means the car seldom changes gear and is just 'Bentley-esque' seemless. The petrol can end up hunting for a gear a bit more. Auto's work very well but only with higher torque engines. My V8 Merc is perfectly suited to the autobox (and isn't available with a manual), but the four-pot engines and some sixes don't stack up as well.

....plus I have a 330bhp/tonne westie 'for the weekend'
