Don't be impressed by my beer drinking -its taken 3 yrs of hard work to get rid of my "reebok- bellys gonna getcha"
Still beer is good- I take back my comments about Carling et al- if it was that or no beer I'd be there at the bar getting a round in!

Timothy Taylors "Landlord"- also a top beer- after a few of those we started calling it "Tommy Tippy"- well it seemed funny after about 8 pints!

Can anybody here actually GENUINELY tell the difference between a well poured Guinness in this country and the Guinness in Ireland? I go over to Ireland A LOT and there is no feckin difference whatsoever!!!

Once my mother asked me to get a pack of "cheap beer" to use for killing slugs in the garden. So I went to my favorite store, and asked the clerks which beer was their worst. It was interesting to watch them launch into a scholarly debate on the topic. I think they recommended Blatz.
I like the way the Germans refer to US beer as "American lawn mowing beer" - they are more correct than they imagine, a watery beer really is pretty good after some sweaty mowing on a hot day.

I think 15 years of smoking like a trooper has killed off my tastebuds. Ahh well....the good thing about it is I'm happy whatever I'm drinking!
