Godspeed Group Buy
Can anytone who has the 335mm kit, try to explain the fitting to me, I've just bought a secondhand kit and have no instruciond for them, all I need is to know where the bracket goes and then the caliper.
From what I can see, the bracket bolts to the outside of the hub, and then the caliper is bolted from inside the bracket, throught the bracket then the spacer into the caliper, is that right? of am I a muppet?
I won't tell you what I paid, I think I got a bargain!
Ron.

Pick the car up from the Garage tonight looking forward to it.
They reckon 3 hours including brake lines and bleeding brake
fluid for new. Check you have the right split pins, mine were
short, Ian has sent the right pins to the garage. Good man.

Have you guys felt any vibration through the steering when using the kit. I've been driving pretty normally since getting them fitted. Nice gentle braking and just motorway journeys to/from work.
I was coming home last night and had to brake a bit harder than usual (nothing serious, but just more firmer and for a bit longer) when some muppet in a truck pulled out in front of me.
Then pottering round town, I could feel a slight vibration when I used the brakes (again, just very lightly).
Haven't noticed it this morning, but I wasn't paying much attention to be honest.
Another question - how does your pedal feel. Is it rock solid or does it still feel a bit squishy? I haven't used the pedal in earnest yet, but I'm just unsure exactly what a firm pedal should feel like on a Scooby. Maybe it's just the bulkhead flexing that I can feel more than soggy brakes

My pedal is rock hard when engine off and a bit squishy when running due to servo.
It feels slightly firmer than before but not so much that you'd obviously notice.
What I have noticed though is that when I drive my wifes car (only a seat ibiza) I'm usually impressed by the brakes compared to mine.
After a couple of weeks with the new kit on the scooby when driving the Ibiza now they feel a quite weak compared to mine.
I think you just get quickly used to the different brake feel (after a week of light braking bedding them in) and don't appreciate their power until you drive something else.
Also - no vibration, still smooth

Received my kit on Friday. I also didn't get the retaining pins included with my kit (335mm kit)
Also the braided hoses I ordered with the kit haven't turned up yet either! (as of 3pm Tues)
These should have been with me on Saturday according to the invoice, but as it was a Bank Holiday weekend I can understand that this may have caused the delay. Doesn't sound like the pins will be in the same package tho, so if you see this Ian could you send me some pins A.S.A.P please
