The front tyres on the scoob need replacing, what would you recommend and whats the best priced (preferably in the south) the rears are avon zz1's but have loads of tread left so ideally i dont want to replace them yet altho they are not the best tyre in the word i cant justify shelling out for an extra 2 tyres when i dont need them.Any suggestions

If you drive enthusiastically I'd suggest changing all four. Can be a little unpredictable if you mix tread patterns. Also, not good for the diff.

Swapping tyres front to rear helps maintain even wear and reduces the likelihood of your present predicament.

Good luck.

try http://www.mytyres.net for that size. They do Avon ZZ3's for good prices, along with Michelin Pilot Primacy's. But best deal they have at present is Goodyear Eagle Ventura's on that size for 51 quid inc. VAT and delivery.

I've used them, they are pretty good, to say the least!!

As Slowboy mentioned you are putting yourself in a very dangerous situation if you leave the Avon zz1's on the back and put good rubber on the front

Simply put, the Avons will lose grip long before your Toyo's or Goodyears on the front and your car will just swap ends

Spend a few extra quid on getting all 4 and it'll probably save you wrecking your car

Cheers
