Nice one, ta I'll let you know during the spring how accurate you've been

Must say, I'd love it if my Cossie were this quick!

Richi - no,that figure is actually the rough, power per weight ratio (bhp/ton).

Danny - no problem mate, some of my figures will be out, I haven't got a problem with that, but I'm hoping not by much. I know of many people that get know where near other people's times with similar spec and power, this is due to many factors like setup, conditions, track service, and of course driver skill/abuse, just becuase you haven't got near it doesn't mean its not possible on a decent sticky service. We'll see. Let me know what you get at Santapod I would be very interested, in fact, there's a lot of cars going on April 6th, and i'll be there testing out my new unichip I got fitted/mapped today (GtiR 286bhp at Powerstation (conservative) rolling road).

Get 10 runs in plus, looks like it could be decent weather on Sunday for some nice runs, hope its OK the following Sunday for the big April 6th meet, anyway see...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2846&links

Website is coming on according to my mate, so, as I said, we should have a skelton version soon for anyone to have a "play".

Some more figures:

4WD:
Chris_D 254 1235 206 4.9 13.2
I know this is possible becuase I seem to remember Stef (CK) with similar spec on his green UK turbo getting about 13.3 at a sticky Santapod one time, mind you, he slaughtered and abused that car on all tracks! I'm sure if you've got within half a second then your doing well, 13.7?

RWD:
Stevecotton 115 950 121 8.6 17.0

cheers
STEVE

Just to let you know I've decided to try and make it on the 6th and should be bringing along a few from my club (www.scoobycity.co.uk).

I'll be trying desperatly to break into the 12's to prove your sums correct.

You've seen the vid clip so look out for my car and make sure you say hi.

Question

Hi Steve,
Don't know if I am too late for this but I have a new MKIV Golf GTI (TDI 150) with a Revo remap.

The standard power/torque is 150/236

The Revo power/torque is 188/290

The vehicle weighs 1343 KG

The 0-62 (100KMH) for the standard car is quoted at 8.6 seconds, and it is FWD of course!

Cheers,
Darren.
