Thats a small can of WD40 you have there sir. Makes that air filter look huge. Good to see you have finally got the ball rolling. Again

David,

I am trying to weigh up the merits of head work/cams. You mentioned you are sticking with the Phase I heads with I think "light" work.

With the spec of things you are building do you think your UK cams will hold things back?

The last thing I want is a 2.33 breathing through valves with insufficient lift and duration, but don't want more feature creep either. What are you thinking?

600bhp should be obtainable from reasonably low boost or

reasonable = less than I was planning

Hoses are in the back of my mates van

hmm, oh dear.

Pukka aeroquip or similar AN-6 hose should be 8mm or so.

I was going to ask for a source of AN/JIC fittings, cheapest I found so far are from www.speedflow.co.uk and Mocal from www.thinkauto.com

Are those equal length headers? If so, how is the exhuast note? Did you make them yourself?

Also how long does it take to remove the engine. Assuming you have the right tools...

removing the engine and mounting it on the stand took me, on my own about 1hr..

Including answering the phone to idiots wanting to know silly things...

Tim.. think its some sort of weight..

will be removed in my weight saving plan.

Whats up with the manifolds??? There are no flanges for an up-pipe, and it looks like you are making/modifying the collectors yourself???

I am, I asked for different sized collectors.. primarys are 1.5" and secondary's are 1.75"

Waiting for the flanges for the Garrett and External wastegate...

then I can position the turbo in the correct place and bend and weld it into the correct place..
