Daily driver 2.4 or 2.5 project - target 450 BHP/400lbft reliable
John, you will probably need another turbo downpipe, classic downpipes do not clear 6 speed gearboxes, also turbo may interfere considerably more on the 6 speed.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
you dont need a transmission lift.. I did it laying on my back with a trolley jack.. but not a girls jack.. a real one.
John,
I have Redline Heavy Shock in mine at it is fine (well, as far as I can tell!). It certainly feels a lot better than the OE oil which I used for a couple of thousand miles to start with.

, so did the pipework and air con radiator.
car now approx 35kg lighter so should balance out to similar, once the 6 speed goes in

Foglamps, rear seats and spare wheel/jack
Harvey alswo mentioned there being a couple of kgs of sound deadening under the backbox's heatshield - yet to investigate on mine.
How easy was the a/c removal? How do you safely de-gas the damned thing? Getting mine done along with front end repairs next week (new a/c cooler...that wont be fitted
).

I agree with john, I'd rather sell the car.. stuff the aircon..
I want a car that I dont even know what the engine looks like... top of my List is the new M3 and also cough.. std ish Evo 6

Nothing wrong with my car just.. its a bit like a tampon to coin a phrase.

air-con still intact, just winding him up since I have his car at my mercy
did get a rather worried call, this afternoon about it though
tranny jack did not arrive today so looks like monday. could do battle but hoping that we can get some verification about the clutches clamping force first. should have just sent it down to get tested ourselves

I'd rather flog the car.
