If there is any room, can I bring my now fully de-catted MY01 WRX?

Sorry people,

Been meaning to put a list up for ages, but been so busy lately and with all the moaning that goes on before, during and after these days, I was beginning to think is it really worth it?

I suppose there are many people who enjoy these days and get a lot out of them, and you can't please all of the people all of the time, but it does demoralise you when you put a lot of work in and people do nowt but complain.

But as long as there are people who enjoy them, I'll keep doin' 'em!

The list WILL go up this week.

323GTR, it would be great to have you along, I always welcome other marques.

Steve, no probs, you are on the list.

David, I THINK it's rated to 750bhp, I know they ran Billy's old Cossie on there to over 550bhp, why? You reckon you've got more than they can handle?

Cheers

Rich

Hi Rich: I know what you mean about the bitching. There are some proper ar..holes and burks about who do not realise how much effort you put in to this to organise a good/happy day out for us all which can be spoiled by petty or inappropriate behaviour in the lead up, on the day or after the event. If they do not like things the way they are they should sling their hook and organise their own entrtainment elsewhere. If you get anymore hassle or stupidity then knock it on the head or do not organise a Well Lane V1.

I will run to support you and if you need a hand on the day or beforehand just let me know. By the middle of May some of these big capacity engines that have been a lot of hot air since last October May actually have materialised to show the 2 litre boys how to do it.

By early May I hope to have decided on what to do for my next engine and providing I have made the decision then, it should be in the car in June and fully de-bugged for Ten of the Best on 3rd August. I still fancy staying with a 2 litre and will do so if I think I can develop it reliably beyond 500bhp.

Harvey

You can never de-bug an engine.. theres allways something else that can be changed Its no fun if you cant!

I seriously would like to challenge the rollers.. however Im having problems with my crank, and theres a lot of work remaining to be done with my cams and heads

AFAIK: The 2wd rollers can handle more power, not so sure about the 4wd ones..

I've seen a Skyline do 525BHP on their rollers, I think he was at or close to the limit. That was a 200+ club day a while back. Hopefully I'll have a 3 inch exhaust sorted by then, plus a decent set up, should be interesting to see what I get, and see what you guys do. The most I have seen from a scoob was 337, looks like there are plenty of cars with more now

2 fuel pumps

You'll have the fastest Scoob in England between Petrol stations!

80 miles to a tankful - almost what you get out of an Evo

Cheers
