Grahame - were they all taken with the finepix??? If so, very impressive, what modes were you using, only just learning mine.

Hi Ed,
From the Wyedean onwards they are all with the S602, before that was a Fuji 4700. The 602 does take a bit of getting used to, espcially with rally cars flying past.
Try the "sports" mode and set it to take 5 pics in a second. You then need to pre-focus on a spot of track, keep the button half way down and when the car comes into view pan the camera and try to get the shot where you pre-focussed. Out of the five pics you should get one that's OK.

Top tip, and top pics. Was very impressed with the camera on its 1st outing. Took a lap of in-car video footage with it at 640 x 480 30 fps will host it later this week!!!

I thought the rules stated no in car video's were to be taken on the track no matter how camera was secured.

Right then guys, as I mentioned earlier in this thread a few of us are meeting in a cafe in Chipping Sodbury which is just down the road from Castle Combe. The cafe is opening at 7 am, and there a a few details in this section ( titled Yate / Bristol Japfest meet, or something like that)
