Like I said on the previous page if you can get on with the gearbox then you are in. My RA seems to have very little lag, whether thats the version 6 VF29 turbo (I think the version 5 uses a VF28 and the version 4 a VF24 but they are all very similar)or the gear ratio I dont know but I suspect more to do with the ratios.

I dont do much motorway stuff in mine and run around A and B roads it where the mid range comes into its own. You do learn to change gear quick and can do 1st to 5th in 50 yards .
