My more interesting rig builds have already been posted up on here this year, along with 3D Mark results at time of build. Just before demolishing the old rig, I was on just over 15.5k marks, so not bad.
Cheers,
Nick

Judging by some of his other posts, I think that is his work PC.
Edited to say I think I have this confused with someone else, but we shall see.

Sinky, get a life you retard. I don't go on about my machines at all, I let Si go on about his and he tends to draw me into it for some reason. Rarely, I post up articles that I would think some people on here find interesting, such as my first attempt at a watercooled rig or stuff like that.
You tell us to get a life? Crawl back into your hole mate, or stay in forums where you can be constructive.........

Nick,
I think Chris is right, puter came well before pooters were invented
OK, the Dell I have is actually in my home, sitting under my desk. What I didn't say was that I actually work at home and work paid for it. But it is for my personal use, so I guessed that qualified it.
Oh, and I know for sure it is faster than Si's. Maybe not peak speed (although I bet it is close), but it will still be running in a months time
My own (paid for by myself) machine is an 800MHz POS. I never use it now, but the missus uses it for email etc.
Cheers
Ian

Yep I stopped being excited about speeds of PCs (and add ons) when they got to the point that most things ran as fast as I need them.
I'm guessing that was around the time of 1.5GHz machines. Anything after that is just gloss.
Delphi and Fortran compilers, Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer etc. all run fast enough on current machines so I can't get excited about anything quicker.
Only time this isn't true for me is when I've got some major number crunching to do and then nothing is quick enough.
Oh, and my carpet is much more tasteful than Si's
Cheers

Wait a sec!
All these specs could be lies
For example I could quite easily say I have this and that and beat u all
but I won't ..........
however to prove who has the fastest u need to run the 3DMark2002 bench mark program and post your results on their website
I reckon si and footlong won't produce amazing results but average results
If you think you have the fastest pc then prove it instead of typing all these feeable words I keep seeing in this thread!
come on then.............
