How long should STI7 Brake pads last

just had new info thro' from Ferodo today (as prev. posted);
fronts FRP3067 and rears FRP3068
Ferodo have listed a different pad for "sti7" whereas most other manufacturers use the same pad for "evo's" & "sti7" application....

sorry for the initial confusion, Ferodo use a slightly different spec pad (only in depth of material!! scooby one is thinner), whilst the others have decided that the original spec is fine - we have had no problems with the Pagid, etc. fitments that have been supplied as i'm sure "sti man" (amongst others) will confirm....

Just had my 10,000 service, been told by dealer that my front pads need changing. Guy a service desk said they need changing every 5000 miles. I don't drive that hard.

Car new April02 My brakes Pads were changed in December at 7km would estimate would have lasted to 9-10 Km and fitted myself for DS2500 part No. FRP3067H £125 Including Vat and Del. from Jamie Whitfield
