Mark,
just dug out a 10" white vinyl by Girl-"love is a game"....it was in the loft!!Havent heard it for about 15 years.
[/quote]
Ah, now that's one I haven't got.
No-one has mentioned Hanoi Rocks I notice. Bit of an aquired taste, I hated them at first, but they have to be the best Finnish rock group ever!
Some of Mike Monroe's solo stuff was pretty good as well, I liked the Jerusalem Slim stuff.

Who said I would be on my own - in fact most music whilst driving sessions involve the other half - good thing she's got impeccable taste as well ...

Graham Bonnet was the Since You've Been Gone singer. Went on to do an album with Michael Schenker and then form Alcatraz with Yngwie (then unheard of) Malmsteen. Not a bad line line up of guitarists to have worked with.
What do you reckon dave, seems to be a definite connection between fast cars and fast guitars across all forums.

Dave,
Yeah, Chris Rea - found out the name of the song - called Auberge.
Also, another top album I forgot to mention is:
St Germain - Tourist. Sort of music you chill to. Even parents and grandparents like it. You must buy it - you won't be disappointed.
Cheers,
Tom

some-one mentioned Pink Floyd. Try 'Arnold Lane' if you have a large sub-woofer in the car; absolutely awesome (ignore the lyrics, however).
and for something more mellow - Morning Dew by Tim Rose.
My top picks at the moment.
