£100 to remove Neil, and possibly another £100 to re-fit if it's not done at the same time.

You will also need a new cable kit when the Navtrak is refitted to the new car. Thats about 30 quid.

didn't realise how fookin heavy the dam thing was
I was somewhat fooked afterwards.
Suppose I had better ring trackstar up then

I wound the window down, let the handbrake off, locked and alarmed it, left it for 10-15 mins then pushed it up the farm drive.

My tracker monitor kept activating after i had mine installed, they rung me three times whilst i was driving it, albeit about 5mins after i had started the car, although not sure at what point it was going off. They sent an engineer who fixed it, they had to change the box it was faulty, he wouldnt tell me where it was fitted, but is working fine now. To test, he said just to call up the normal number and ask them to do a scan for the car, which wouldnt be a problem. , can often catch them out, when its 2 floors down in my works garage. Too much concrete they say. !!

Got RAC Trakstar and it works just fine. Car was put on a flat bed on the M4 in January, and I had a call on my mobile within minutes. They went through a full interrogation to make sure they were happy with my story, and confirm who I said i was etc etc

Cheers

I have tracker and it works just fine. I had a call in the middle of the night for 'unusual movement' - turned out my mate moved my car onto my driveway to get his out onto the road - all of 20 feet!!

I like the idea of having police at to retrieve my car in the event of the worst. That is peace of mind.

There's pro's and con's for every system.
