How do you KNOW he's innocent ?

 

I think peoples names should not be made known until proven guilty in cases like these anyone can be accused these days and reputations can be ruined based on false accusations and not fact

 

Because jasey that is the basis of the Law in this country, the onus is on the prosecutors to prove guilt, not the defendant to prove innocence.








Unless you get caught by a speed camera, in which case the law requires that you waive your right not to incriminate yourself[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Reffro - Criag Charles vanished because he was in prison awaiting trail! Not only had the woman lied about the rape but he spent time in prison for somethign he didn't do!

 

Thank you for that little nugget MATTel, I didn't realise that, I thought he was out on bail prior to the trial but thinking back, I seem to rememebr you are spot on there.

 

Chrispy, reffro etc - I know the basis of law but last time I looked I wasn't posting in a trial - I was posting in Scoobynet !

Now - back to my question - HOW DO YOU KNOW HE'S INNOCENT - Unless you are Mathew Kelly you don't KNOW that he/you are Innocent

pps The **** that stabbed the police officer in Manchester is INNOCENT - That is a Fact in your world

 

I think the difference is that there were witnesses to the stabbing and it only happened this week. MK's "alledged" incidents happened over 2 decades ago. The Court's will have to prove guilt, not the general public by lynch mob.

I get angry about how many lives are crushed by false accusations and the fact that people jump onto whatever bandwagon is the flavour of the month.
