Question

Dougster,

It would appear to me that you obviously want the content if this thread to be an issue and it appears no one else really cares, so I will try and feed your hunger with some constructive feedback. This is not intended to be inflammatory or upsetting to you in any way.

Firstly; The start of this thread was the first ever posting by Dark Evo and the fact that he/she avoided a couple of very simple questions from regular SN users without doubt raised a few concerns about the integrity of the very thread in the first place. Furthermore, I'm sure there are many, including myself, who had some doubts about the possible intentions of Dark Evo, if the driver and/or the car he/she was asking about had been disclosed by this members of this board at an early stage.

Secondly; Your point about not calling the police...because the car was a Scooby was, and is, a complete nonsense. Our beloved Impreza has been, and still is, one of the preferred menthols of transportation commonly used by the thieves and low life's that seem to over populate the streets of our cites, and to a lesser degree, most of the towns that we choose to live in these days.

You mention that we are a community and that you feel the community has been negative and defensive. Well I think you are entirely correct in your judgement...and I don't think it should be any other way under the circumstances of the aforementioned thread. As far as I can see the ambiguity in which Darl Evo went about clearly ignoring some of the very simple questions asked early on still firmly stands today.

You of course are fully entitled to you view, as I am mine, and I will respect yours. However I do wish to agree to disagree with your thought process here. And unless you know more about the alleged scenario mentioned above, or even know who Darl Evo is, I'm sure there are many more SN users who will support the general feeling already clearly displayed in this thread.

I must conclude by saying I feel you are being somewhat rash in your judgement of others and I am rather intrigued by why you feel the need to keep bringing this post to the top...

Regards
SP

Exclamation

There is also a second post not dissimilar to this one in the Scotland forum, similar car, same area, unsociable hours, no one knows who the driver is.
It would be fair to assume that people do in fact care.

As I said before, my question was a straight one. You dont need any more information to answer it. If you know the registration number you type yes, if you don't know it, you type no I don't know it. I wasn't looking for long winded answers on where the car was made, or where it was parked at night.
Or you can be helpful, and put up something positive like Miles, John S and Alan G did
JVS, my appologies for being rude, but I was assuming that after reading Mile's second post you would understand why I never answered you directly

No one disclosed who the car belong's to, because know one know's!!
I think you would find that if my intentions were anything other than good, I would have been a little more cunning with my question.
I think you will find that Miles's gave a good reason in his second post, as to why I had avoided answering the first question put to me.
The rest of the post were just full of emotion and drible, and people jumping on the band wagon. I just hope you don't get led off the edge of a cliff one day.

You of course are fully entitled to you view, as I am mine, and I will respect yours
You don't respect mine though.

Dougsters point is very valid.
Sasim should have locked the thread when he thought about it.
If he did, then none of this would be getting discussed would it.

You say the Dougsters rash, you say I am angry.

I must conclude by saying I feel you are being somewhat rash in your judgement of others
Exactly. You have not summed me or the Dougster up, but your self my friend.
