Derek,

I had a quick look under SDB`s fugly a couple of weeks back and the rear links are indeed plastic and look very similar to the classic ones. Didn`t check his fronts though So Paul if u read this nip round sometime so I can check the fronts

caz 1562 instead of fabricating the rose jointed arb links how about buying the sti solid links from rally colin.
also would it be possible to get other parts discounted in this deal ie arb bushes, uprated arb's,etc etc.
can you let us know how much for the fab front arb links for my wrx?
cheers rob

Rob,

The STI links or whats already on the WRX with alloy wishbones are very flimsy looking IMHO. By going the Rosejoints way would beef up the rigidity. (hope my methodology is correct). Rally Colin told me last week they'd be around £50 plus p&p so not really any different in cost and I'd reckon in the long run you'd be better off with the rosejoints than the small balljoint looking links.

Its looking damn good guys. Awaiting price from Jamie for the Whiteline links. The fabricated joints I'm still working on them, got each rod end down to £10 + VAT but it may be wise to source these locally to each individual (save on carriage)

Fabricated rosejoint drop links (for front of early Jap imports & STi's)
myself WRX 95
Vinnie Mac WRX 95
WRXrob WRX 94

Production made one's (as per JW Racings website)

WRXrob (rear) WRX 94
Vinnie Mac (rear) WRX 95
Ozzy (front & rear) UK 99
Silver Smith (front & rear) UK 00
Mad 1 (front & rear) UK 99
Mr J (front & rear) UK 99

Rob,

Go to BSL website, they have a branch in Guildford

Ask for the price of 4 x 10mm female rosejoint bearings. I got quoted around £11.60 each for INA rosejoints. Then all you need is a bit of 10mm high tensile studding and a few high tensile bolts and a few spacers and thats you. You join the 2 rosejoints to the studding with the hole centre's 94mm (so I got told) and bolt them on. Doing it this way saves you p&p if you have a BSL or Wyko type place near you. They can do cheaper ones but the idea is to fit quality fittings otherwise you'll still be in the same position as we all find ourselves in at the moment with crap fittings and clunking noises. These would fair stiffen the front up. Hope you follow this.

Is it too late to get in on this deal as I've got a knocking noise from the back of mine and have found out the ARB bushes are shot so might as well get the whole lot done in one.
