Band Of Brothers

Well said Steve!
Me and a few mates went to Ypres a couple of weeks ago, then down to the Somme. Going to the Thiepval memorial was truly moving, as there are the names of the british and colonial soldiers whose bodies were never recovered during the battles of the Somme - and there are 73,000 names on there.
Lest we forget....

Final word from me
JonIT - i didnt have a pop at simonH. i got popped at by him and notorious for stating my opinion albeit different. they took it out of context as per se and started quoting the stars and stripes, my grandad and the true facts surrounding the battle of the bulge.
Let me forget and go and have some dinner

I never mentioned your Grandad, I mentioned mine and my reasons for liking BOB, which because you clearly have the intellect of a 2 year old, you decided was aimed specifically at you and was condecending. Hint: new paragraph means new subject!
Finally, who quoted "the stars and stripes", neither I nor Simon mentioned anything remotely American.
Get your head from up your **** and take your crying elsewhere.

Now whose started the offensive-Notorious Rev you muppet. LMAO.
'Get your head from up your **** and take your crying elsewhere'
I suggest you have lost the argument and are just being a true Scooby muppet.LMFAO.
Well done Stiman, you've won this battle.
My dinner is on the boil too. Let me enjoy it!

'No, it wasn't taken out of context, you compared fictional films to a story very closely based on true events '
Notorious Rev LMFAO i didnt compare...just stated i preferred the action in the films i mentioned regardless of fictional or non-fictional. Obviously your intellect needs some work!
Take your head out of simons **** and stop relying on simons doctored 'copy and paste' sessions that he was passing off as his own marvellous memory. thought YOU read the book. what are the facts surrounding the ardenne offensive big man - lol!
LMAO - The war is over Notorious and you can come home from muppetland - LMAO!

So much for your previous comment being your last word
What war have you won?
Where have I "relied" on anything Simon said?
What's with the "big man" comments?
Yes, I have read the book, would you like to borrow it?

Sorry guys but this is just too weird.
wrxstithing - "notorious for stating for your opinion"? Sorry, been a regular on this site for a couple of years and I would suggest that the only place you're notorious is in your imagination
I am slightly intrigued though; why would any body on this site have the slightest interest in "putting their heads" up my ****? I don't know any of them from Adam and they don't know me.
Lol at your ongoing cut and paste dribble, by the way. I'm not going round that again as it is becoming deeply tedious.
Try this though: go take a look at your car and see what colour it is. If you can remember tomorrow then congratulations, you have a working memory.
Now try applying it to other things. If you practice this often enough you will learn how to remember more and more. Be careful though, I suspect your head may become full very quickly.
What fun.

Not sure I understand that comment. Weird is the wrong word you muppet. Maybe if you hadn't of patronised Stiman in the 1st place, this wouldn't have happened.
Have a think on that one Simone. Now go to sleep.
Pops-Speaking sense unlike Tony Blair

Apparently you're in the forces??? You seem to have hell of alot of freetime as you're always on this forum rather than fighting for good old Blighty.
Methinks you were in the Army Cadets at Skool and reliving you're experience. LMAO.
