Any chance of welcoming a former GT-B owner (twice over), who has had to switch to a more sober Forester 'S' Turbo for his business use?

Thumbs up

Sounds good to me! MY99 B4.

Dfullerton

If you are considering that car be careful of parts. One downside that we found is that Subaru UK will not confirm part details for import B4's something to do with model revisions and part numbers. If you are concerned there are a number of Import parts specialists that can get hold of new panels within about 6 weeks.

We have a 98 legacy GTB and may be interested in coming down from Northumberland to see some other twin turbos.

Andrew,
Thanks for the reply, it would be great if you could come to the meet. Hopefully this will turn into some kind of annual event for twin turbos and we can all get together to discuss varies things relating to the car. I ve had mine just over two years and the problem is that there is so little knowledge regarding this amazing car in the UK. Do hope you can make it.

Happy New Year peeps,
Update on the Legacy meeting and a few other bits for tuning Twin Turbo's.
It's only 9 weeks before the All UK Legacy meet (2nd March) I'm going to sort out the final venue choice by next weekend so keep a lookout for details.
On the tuning side my baby had the Eibcah Springs fitted on Monday and had them re-set to the old group N rally spec. WOW its amazing, sharper turn in, zero understeer, less roll, better braking, absolutly spot on. All this was done by TSL in Nottingham, many thanks to Graham. Part number for the 97 & 98 Legacy is 7705-140, I got them cheap at the TSL open day but they are around 150-180 squids. They drop the car by around 1+ inches and the ride still remains very comfortably. Test drives will be available at the meet for those interested.
Next news is that I have been in contact with someone who re-maps rally cars and asked about the Twin Turbo, well he is working with one of the engine management companys on adapting a 97/98 Impreza ECU to run on the same year model Twin turbo. Now this sounds interesting, but thats all I've got for now and he will be in touch when more developments are available.
Finally hopefully doing a feature with Jap Performance in the near future and I may need a B4 to go with my earlier BG5 for the feature. They have been in touch and are keen to feature this car and will be contacting me with a date, again will post for help with this.
Any new additions to the list posted please give your details
Cheers Tim

Paul,
No mate I did not pass you as I was going the other way and I also had 2 Windsurfing boards on my car. They play havoc with the handling at 100+mph !!!
