Shucks Jen! I've now gone all red!!!!!
Quick update, the day has now appeared in the hallowed pages of Autocar (27th) as track day of the week!, Only a very small mention on page 30 but hey......
Also if you are in to Corgi models we are auctioning a number limited edition certificated models, very kindly donated by Corgi in Southampton, via the Easytrack forum.
These include a rare Aston Martin DB5 (1 of only 1000)from the collectors club, a Mini Cooper "end of era" 3 car set, a limited edition Jubilee lorry and a Falklands 20th aniversary helicopter. Depending upon what progress these items make they are likley to be with me on the day!!

I am going to be a party pooper and not meet at junc 9
If I get allocated the 9am track slot then I will be hard pressed to get the car done in time.So I am afraid it is a very early start for moi.
I will see you all down there. If the RS boy's turn up before you lot I will try to set up our allocated parking spot.
Cheers Paul.

I will have to come along, after all, I do work at the hospital. Its the least I can do, and I'm noted for doing the least I can do.
I will get there as early as I can but I was not aware there was such a time as 7:30 on a Saturday, I thought that only occured mid week. I'm up for any passengering available, including airborn.

Leaving Soton at 7, travelling with a TVR & another interesting car, The TVR only came back from the garage yesterday after its post Cannonball rebuild (you thought scooby bills were high!) so will be running gently or knowing TVR reliability possibly stopped on the hard shoulder.

Excellent - see (and hear!) you there Steve...
Stuart - we'll wave as we pass you!
...well, ok, I might give you a lift to one of those emergency phones

...Looking forward to it
Although I have no excuse not to clean the car now as it's all sunny outside

A good day out!
Helicopter ride was ace, track parade lap (albeit too slow!) gave me an urge to go book one (shame insurance will not allow me to do it as 22B needs too much cover), all the cars were great and we all met up and managed a convoy without coming to any harm!
Hope lots of do$h was raised, and was good to meet some new faces.
Tim and the crew.

I have been asked to pass on a BIG thank you to all of you who attended today. We had a great turn-out and I think you all enjoyed yourselves.
I think Rach and Steve enjoyed their first track experience. How long before you are out in your own car Rach?
Was I really quicker than that Ferrari down the straight? Or perhaps he was playing with me!
Cheers Paul.

Great day out. The kids really enjoyed it, especially the parade lap at lunch time. As Tim said, helicopter ride was ace! It was great to be part of a very important event. Many thanks to the Hants crew for their efforts in publicising a great day out. Just wish I'd had a ride in "the bed" round the track!

Great day out, BIG THANK YOU to Robin for organising it & I hope it was the financial success it deserved to be.
Seeing the kids faces when they came off the track was the best bit & it kind of puts things in perspective.

In my excitment I forgot to say how great it was to meet so many nice new people

...oh and see Tim and families' fantastic car

Even inspired me to take a trip over to Sparshatts today, but they've put it in the showroom
Needless to say it looks clean now. Had great fun annoying the salesman by pulling scoob up close to the window (nicly warmed up and reverbarating in the ally way
) and sitting looking at the car...well I did say I'd never set foot on Sparhatts property again
(all IMHO of course
)

It was *stunning* Stuart! Couldn't beleive my ears when I heard it - like a normal TVR on steriods!!

Hope the new engine re-build's behaving itself - it should for that price
