Rich, whats the running order on day 2? Dave wants to leave @730 I dont really want to get there at 830am if i'm not going on till 2pm.
Also what kind of welly do they give the cars on this RR? Not that i'm scared or anything.

Who are these wimps, talking about a lie - in or setting off at 7.30 ?!!
Some of us are on the road at 5.30 am to get there (after a suitably unhealthy breakfast stop) at 9.15 ish !!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about those dropping out, but can't be helped.
I'll just have to organise Well Lane 5 pretty soon!
Rob,
7.30 set-off! He'll be the only one there if he does!
We're setting off this week about 8.15. Get there about 8.45-9.00
Cheers for the directions tip Mark, that's a relief. I hate detours.
See you all tomorrow.
Cheers
Rich

Thanks Rich, for an entertaining day (you've got to laugh !! )
I demand the prize for the greatest amount of money spent on a Scooby engine for the smallest increase in BHP (18 !!!) and DROP in torque (28ft-lbs) recorded on a RR.
Having thought about it - car went great driving up and also on return trip - so I reckon the warm up before the RR run to get everything good and hot (190F) caused the TMIC to not supply cool enough air - as the tester(sorry - forgotten his name in my dispair !!) lifted off at 6K as it was running so poorly.
If identical-ish car (same turbo etc but different ecu/mapper, and with FMIC) got 386BHP - so mine should have been in the same region ??
Any advice from experts (Bob, Mark, Harvey, Steve Simpson, and all the rest) would be gratefully received !!!
(no - I'm not going to chuck it out !)
Double doh !!!! Now wheres that bottle of gin ?

Yes thanks again Rich for a good day again.
Stan i know where your coming from my graph says i got 280 bhp/230 lbs this is on a full de-cat/induction/hks plugs but hey you have good days and bad days.
I got 289 bhp/270 lbs last time with a miss fire.
I dont think it helps with mine only doing 8000 miles
It just means more mods, roll on the link.

Stan,
just a thought - does the Gems have inlet air temp compensation.
The fan at Well Lane was not redirected for your top mount - a guess is that the top mount was seeing very high inlet temps - (80 deg plus has been seen in similar conditions) and the ignition was being pulled right back. So the harder you tried the less you would get - especially higher up.

Hi Rich
On behalf of the Scottish Contingent, Pavlo, and a few others, I would like to thank you for an excellent day. Your cars power run belies the fact that this is one well sorted out Scoob, although the suspension is too hard for my liking, but 7K in 5th is available on demand, so you will understand my enthusiasm.
Andy:
With 417bhp on a TD05-06 upgrade I realise that you will be like a dog with 2 dicks, but Bob has told Alan G. that he is on a TD05 hybrid so I will confirm our order with Canada tomorrow for 20 front entry upgrade kits.
Christian:
Will sort the information you need and get back to you Monday mid morning.
Steve:
If you want to break 400bhp let me sort out the turbo and headers.
Good luck everybody, Nite Nite.
Regards
Harvey
