Hi Everyone,

Glad you all enjoyed it!

I know some figures were on the low side, but as someone said, there's good days and bad days. I was annoyed to not get the full potential out of mine due to the exhaust catching when extra weight was added to help traction, but hey, I was bopwled over with my torque figure. Well up on last time from 275 to 338 lbsft!

My hat must well and truly come off to AndyF and Dave Wallis though. What those guys have done to their cars is nothing short of awesome. Looking under the bonnets of both cars fills you with a feeling of utter incompetence. These guys deserve respect, big time.

Just a final word to say thanks so much to Harvey and Bob Rawle for mapping my car to perfection. They made an awesome job of it and but for my exhaust and suspension being so low, I'm sure we would have seen more power. Barry said there was definately more left in it.

My final and biggest thank you goes to Howard Chopping of HDC Subaru and Dave and Andy of Jap Innovations. MY car blew the gearbox on Tuesday and I was in despair. Howard lent me his own box and the lads at JI fitted it for me before weekend and without them I could not have run.

Thanks!

See you all next week.

The result will go up later today when I've had chance to read the graphs properly and get them as accurate as poss.

Cheers

Rich

Yeah, thanks to Rich (echo).
I too was a little disappointed, I had to remove the Dawes Device as it was sticking on the way to Well Lane. Got 241bhp and 240lb/ft of torque last time, have since added ScoobySport DP, made 255bhp but only 220lb/ft torque
Compared the graph from last time and it is worse everywhere except peak power!
Will have to do some investigation or some investing!!
Cheers,
Neil.

Cheers Tony,

If you could let me know that would be great.

Could those on the "to be cofirmed" list above please say if they are coming for sure and I'll add you to the list.

Someone was asking for you on Sunday P20. You don't owe anyone any money do you?

Cheers

Thinks that Scots should only be allowed to run if they wear kilts

Rich,

I'd count Steve out, his Datsun still only has three gears. Unless of course there's a miracle! Looks like you've got plenty of people to step in tho .
