If we get around to moving, I would love a kitten, don't know whether the mog would like it as she's been the centre of attention so far!

Alas no, he was run over.

I will never forget Timmy, but Harry is so cute.

The guy breed Persians, but I don't like their noses!
Me neither, but we had a lilac colourpoint Persian that had a pointier nose which IMHO is better (I'll see if I can dig out a pic). British Blues are nice too

Can't see the pictures, but I'm sure he's very cute. One thing we tried with our cats when we first got them was to put a hot water bottle filled with hotter-than-warm (not boiling) water wrapped in a blanket, in the box in which they all slept initially, just to make them feel as though "mum" was still there...

Another thing I advise is to get him chipped (queue "how cruel" Muppet posts... ). One of my cats took to wandering for a bit and on the second occasion he was run over - only got him back because he'd been chipped.

He don't like me!

Bloody thing, I expect to at least be able to buy a cat's love!

Mice, I will be getting him chipped. It's not cruel, it's for their own safety and it's just like having a rather large injection!

He's older than previous kittens I've had, so hopefully he'll be OK. He's just a bit shy coz it's all new to him.

Be going and seeing him soon. Hope he hasn't wrecked the house too much

Dave, he's alright, he'll get to love you just as I did

Anyway, get on with replying to my email. And no, I do not want this thread to end up in the muppets, so back to the original topic please!

Kittens are adorable like that...one of mine still has mental-cat moments...

She pounces on everything, eyes wide open. We apparently have some very vicious blades of grass in the garden...and as for the carpet....well...Nasty piece of work that..

Clare - I meant the Muppet posts as in "chipping a cat" ie - slicing it up... Not Chipping as in sticking an electronic grain of rice into the cat's neck.

Mice, I will be getting him chipped.
You getting him fitted with a big bore tail (pipe) too?

I bet my Blue Persian would beat him on the short & twisties.
